Glove Legacy
In 2013, after recovering from pediatric cancer and receiving the green light to play baseball again, my son wanted to create a custom baseball glove. When his teammates also wanted one, we searched for a manufacturer, designed the gloves, and unknowingly set the foundation for something much bigger.
What started as a small project quickly gained traction. An Instagram page showcasing the glove-making process attracted over 500 followers within weeks, with requests coming in from players eager to get their hands on one. Hesitant at first, we waited until the gloves arrived—and when they did, we knew we had something special. WebGemz Baseball Glove Company was born, turning a passion project into a growing business.
Rising Stars
As demand skyrocketed, some of the top-ranked high school baseball players in the country—players chasing their dreams of making it to the Major Leagues—began using our gloves. Soon, we had more than half of the Perfect Game All-American Game players sporting WebGemz gloves.
Beyond Gloves
But gloves were just the beginning. In 2016, two standout players, DL Hall and Tanner Burns, suggested we apply our innovation to uniforms. That challenge led to even bigger breakthroughs, including our game-changing 3D Helmet Logos, created in partnership with Pro Helmet Decals. This proprietary material and adhesive transformed helmet design across baseball, softball, football, hockey, lacrosse, and beyond—including construction and industrial applications.
Innovation Pioneers
From there, our relentless pursuit of innovation led to more revolutionary products, like domed bat knob decals, custom batting cage mats, and turf on-deck circles. We weren’t just making products—we were reimagining them.
OG1 Group embodies that spirit. Not only are we the OG when it comes to 3D Helmet Decals, but we’re also pioneers in sports innovation. We’ve built an exclusive client list that includes teams and organizations in the NCAA, MLB, MiLB, NFL, NHL, F1, Team USA Olympics and more—all through word-of-mouth referrals.
As we take the next step by launching our website, the sky is the limit. With every product we invent or improve, we continue to push boundaries and redefine the game.
